Beliefs
Since our school is a ministry of Victory Baptist Church, we embrace and teach the same line of beliefs. Our statement of faith is as follows:
Our school believes in the following approach to education:
-
Biblically Based
We believe that the Bible is the ultimate textbook for life. While we place a high value on academic learning, it is by learning and applying the Word of God that we are properly equipped to handle life’s challenges.
-
Christ Centered
We believe that the end goal of mankind should be to please God and make Him first place in our lives. Our school points students to Christ and teaches how all things were made by Him and for Him. We teach students how to be spiritually sensitive to God’s leading in their life, and to follow and love Him with all their heart, soul, and might.
-
Focused on Developing the Whole Person
We seek to develop the entire being of our students. We not only focus on our students’ academic needs, but also their emotional, mental, and spiritual needs.
-
Balanced with Patience and Discipline
Our goal is to provide a nurturing but structured environment in our classrooms. Our team of teachers are carefully selected for their ability to provide the optimal setting for learning within the classroom.
-
Committed to Excellence
We want to offer the highest quality education to our students possible. Our goal is that students not only meet but exceed the state standards. We use a proven curriculum along with an able team of educators to provide the best learning experience in the classroom.
-
Geared toward Parent-School Cooperation
We view our school as a partnership with parents. We believe that the parents have the primary role in training their children. While we may assist in providing the need for structured academic education, we aim to work together with parents in providing their children with spiritual and moral instruction.
